Works great just as it should starter spins fast now...only thing was the holes on the mounting bracket the bracket is not wide enough to get both mounting bolts back in but 1 bolt holds it in place fine....purchased for 1991 40hp mercury outboard

A week or so ago when installing a new LED anchor light on my outboard the up solenoid went out. I purchased both replacements (up and down) and installed them without any issues. This is a 1986 150hp Mercury Black Max and the solenoid was the original one. I will give an updated review a few months from now and le you know how these have held up.

Works well and comes with spade connector adapters and plastic cover for copper studs. Bracket holes did not line up with old relay, so i recommend measuring before you order, or just being prepared to drill an extra hole

Used them on my trim pump one went out the other is probably not far behind so I changed them both. Biggest issue is getting it out so you can work on it.

It sticks, so not very usefull

The very first time I used it after installing, it stuck and kept turning the starter over until I smacked it with a screw driver. I’m probably going to replace it with a oem quality solenoid.
