These things are so useful right now as people transition to the newer iPhones that take USB, especially in a household where some people have the older (lightning plug) models and some have the newer (USB-C) models. Don't need to keep twice the number of charging cables lying around. These have worked great and the little rubber thing is great for attaching to the cable so they don't get lost. Very easy to use - easy to attach and remove. They attach tightly and securely.

Get these! I dropped my phone and had to get a new one; my husbands phone uses the old prong, and my new iPhone has the oval connector. Well, I had foot surgery and can’t walk, and every time I am in a room and need the new oval charger, it’s in another room and I only have the prong one. I was going crazy! Then I found these. They are amazing little connectors- I attached them to all the old prong cords and the little loops prevent them from falling off. Saves me a ton of money from buying new, and also satisfies my minimalist aesthetic aversion to multiple cords.

I am using these adapters for my new iPhone 16 and they work great! I have them at home, work and for my travel pack. Great value and saving money as I do not have to buy new charging cords. I have not figured out the best way to use the collars and I don't think I need them.

I purchased these adapters because I replace my iPhone XR which had a lightning connector with a new iPhone 16 which has the USB-C connector. I didn't want to have to buy new cables to replace all my USB to lightning cables. The adapters worked great. My phone charged with no problems. I also used them on the cables we have in both our vehicles and Apple CarPlay worked flawlessly. I was able to use Google Maps on my information screen in my GMC pickup and my wife's Honda Pilot. Playing music from my phone over both vehicle's audio system using Carplay worked well.The adapters were of good quality and they each came with a nice loop which fit snuggly on the adapter and the other end fit nicely around the cable so you can disconnect the adapter from the cable, and it would remain looped to the cable so you won't have to store it or possibly lose it. This works great if you wish to use another phone with a lightning connecter on the cable instead of the USB-C connection. This feature is very handy.I was disappointed the adapters would not work on my new iPhone 16 with my earbuds with the Apple lightning cable connection. However, on the Amazon page for the product this is clearly stated although down towards the bottom of the webpage. Plus, the document that came in the package with the adapters clearly stated that the adapters would not work with the lightning cable earbuds. I will probably buy Bluetooth ear buds to solve this problem.All in all, this was a nice product for a good price, and I would recommend it for charging, data transferring and the Apple CarPlay ability.

I had no idea such a thing existed until I was at my son's home. For those of us who have a mixture of old and newer Apple products, this is the perfect solution. You can't lose it with the little harness it comes with.

I just upgraded my iPhone to 16 pro max,all I had lightning port from apple.this item helped me to use all my old cables .it even worked to sync my phone from my Mac book.works perfect and it charges normal.doesn’t get hot.it’s truly a game changer.I didn’t have to replace my old cables.it also working fine with my CarPlay.

This item does not work for adapting ear buds with lightning connectors to USB C type devices. These can only be used for data and power charging.The product works as advertised and is good quality.

In settings > battery on iPhones you can check whether a charger registers as fast or slow. Using this product with an Apple brand name USB C to lightning cable plugged into an apple MAC wall charger OR my Ankr power block, both register as slow charger. When I plug it into my 120V wall outlet on a power station, it registers as 8-9 W when charging an iPhone 16 at 50% battery. The charge will still creep upwards. My test was while using the phone and listening to music via Bluetooth headphones. Maybe 1% every 2-5 minutes. This is at least better than using quality USB A to USB C cables where I have found the charge just remains the same and also registers as slow charger.
