DriveWheel Tires for Mclane Reel Tiff Front Throw Mower 5 tires Rep.Part# 1035

Tires are perfect OEM replacement for my 1995 McLane 20-3RP-7 reel mower. These were less expensive than if ordered through the McLane website. I agree with other reviewers that the tires must be 'heated' to expand them just enough to slide them on the wheel drum. Otherwise, they will not fit. I chose to let them sit in a pail of very hot water (but not boiling) for about 10-15 minutes. This expanded them just enough to 'start' them through the wheel drum. To make it even easier, I applied food-grade silicone (the type used on scuba or water sports equipment) to the center of each dry tire and they easily slid on with only minimal coaxing to 'start' them through the drum. I checked the tires about an hour later and they were a very snug fit.

Perfect fit. Like other reviews, heating the tires up (I used hot water bath) makes them slide over the shaft with relative ease. Highly recommend….pricey but hope they provide long term value.
