Still the best, tangy salad pickle.
Ah, Branston pickle.There is nothing finer to accompany a mature cheddar.Perfect in a sandwich or on a salad plate.It has an acidic bite to it, which no others seem to be able to replicate.Sweet and tangy in equal measures, it's a fine pickle indeed.This is the original one. They do a smooth one, but frankly, if you don't like the lumps, what are you doing eating pickle?Ingredients wise, it's mainly made from Carrots, Rutabaga (No? Me neither), Onions and Cauliflower.It's 31% sugar and 3.5% salt. Not exactly a health food, but you're not going to be eating a whole lot at once, so, as they say, a little of what you fancy does you good.Overall, if you want a tangy pickle with your salad, you can't do better than a spoonful of Branston's.I hope you found this review helpful.
