Duncurin has been fortunate to have reviewed one or two of these “sonic” toothbrushes. Once used, I think you are hooked and you will never want either a manual or another sort of electric brush. Sadly though Duncurin found that the toothbrushes only have a life of maybe 2 years before they fail. I managed to open one or two (!) and tried to replace the batteries inside and although this is possible it seems that the problem is not so much the battery but the fact that water sooner or later has entered.. I bought my wife a nice pink one from one of the premium manufacturers and she used hers for about 4 years before it failed. Duncurin saw this rather inexpensive offering on Amazon and thought he’d give it a go. It’s a nice toothbrush to hold with a nice weight in one’s hand. I like the tactile finish and the chromed insert as well as of course the nice blue colour. The brushes fit well and securely and have a good reach inside one’s mouth with a choice of cleaning brushing programmes - Duncurin tends to just use the bog-standard “clean” setting. I bought it in May but by November it was refusing to charge and though I tried alternative wireless chargers it would not re-charge. The narrative these days of course with products from China especially is that they may be inexpensive but they won’t last long. I was ready to throw it out when I noticed an email address on the box containing the brush heads. I emailed them and within 24hrs had a response to tell me not to worry , that it was covered by their guarantee and they would send a replacement if I would only tell them which colour I wanted. Sure enough a couple of days later a new brush arrived, from Amazon, which is taking charge nicely and is working really well. Okay, it is early days and it may well be that this brush too has a finite lifespan. This being said, purchase cost is very reasonable and the manufacturers seem very keen to stand by their guarantee. Many thanks for excellent and prompt service.

Excellent, much cheaper than others.

Smart brush with several settings and crucially plenty of spare heads.They are expensive with branded models.Just hope longevity is equal to or better than branded ones.

Toothbrush has lots of options for teeth brushing and looks stylish. Amazing for the price.

Purchased this for my 8 year old son. He has had it now for 3 weeks and still on first charge. It looks well made and robust. He loves the different settings. And mentioned on first use that his teeth felt cleaner. Some reviews commented about the size of the heads being too big for children but the head is the same size as a kids manual toothbrush and my son is certainly getting on with it fine. Overall I am impressed and would certainly consider this toothbrush when mine needs replacing.

I ditched my old Oral B electric brush for one of these and so glad I did. Hardly needs charging. I got used to the sonic vibrations quickly. It cleans my teeth very well and has a good timer. You can switch it off before times up by holding the button down. I only tend to use the clean function and don’t see the need for the others. I tend to use it a bit more like a manual toothbrush whereas the Oral B rotary one did the cleaning with me moving it much.

Absolutely terrible product bought two one for me and one for daughter both been replaced twice since December 😡

Bought for my son (13), but he can’t use it as the vibrations are just too much and tickle your lips, tongue, everywhere. I tried it to verify it, thinking he just needed to get used to an electric, but I only just got through a clean. Maybe our mouths are super sensitive as I see plenty of other great reviews, but having used the Braun previously, this is not the same experience.We also didn’t get any coloured bands in our box which I assumed would come with it in order to differentiate between each user’s heads? So that wasn’t great either. Having said that, when I did finish cleaning, my teeth did really ultra smooth!
