Lightweight and amazing sound
One word describes these amazing headphones by Apple. - Brilliant.Expensive but they are worth it in my opinion. Noise cancellation is just perfect, the immediate connection when taken out of the case, and the comfort when wearing them.

AirPod max - purple
Very comfortable and easy to wear saw many complaints about them being heavy but haven’t had the issue personally. They remain on during movement and feel secure around the ears. Love that they cover the whole ear. Noice cancellation in amazing. I have no idea how they managed to make it work so well. Easy to use as with every Apple product.

Genuinely happy with these, I had used the B&O flagships for around 10 years starting with the H6 up until the H9 3rd gen and had become accustomed to a certain sound quality. When mine eventually gave up and they released the H95 for a whopping £800+ I put my foot down and went in search for a cheaper alternative with equal quality, sound & tech. These are by far the closest match sound wise, and I tried every flagship, the Sony’s, Bowers and Wilkins, Cambridge Audio, Bose etc and none came close. The tech on these is perfect for me as it blends seamlessly into my Apple ecosystem. The Spatial Audio and Noise cancelling top class. The sound has some room for improvement. Don’t get me wrong it’s good, just not quite as crisp as I’m used to. I guess I shall have to adjust. All in all, money well spent.

Exceptional Sound Quality and Comfort – Worth Every Penny
I was hesitant about the price at first, but after using the AirPods Max, I can confidently say they're worth the investment. The sound quality is phenomenal – rich, balanced, and incredibly immersive. Whether I’m listening to music, watching films, or taking calls, the audio is crystal clear with deep bass and crisp highs. The noise cancellation is outstanding, cutting out background noise effortlessly, and the transparency mode is equally impressive when I need to stay aware of my surroundings. The spatial audio feature adds an entirely new dimension to movies and music – it truly feels like you're in the middle of the action. They’re also surprisingly comfortable for long listening sessions, with the memory foam ear cushions and breathable mesh headband offering a secure yet light fit. USB-C charging is a welcome addition, and the battery life has easily kept up with my daily use.Overall, these headphones deliver in every category – sound, comfort, design, and features. If you're an Apple user looking for top-tier wireless headphones, these are a fantastic choice.

Still Great After Years – Worth the Price
I’ve been using my AirPods Max for years now, and they still work great and sound amazing. I got them at a reduced price, which was a bonus. My only wish is that they came with USB-C, but that doesn’t take away from how happy I am with them. Highly recommend!

Disappointing. Not for me
Ok, this is going to be controversial, but this is my honest opinion.I bought a set of these, as I use the Apple ecosystem extensively, and have used various iterations of the Apple earbuds - which are good if you are in the Apple ecosystem. Various Apple specific features and all the general things that make them a popular consumer product - I think most people agree on the quality of the Apple in-ear AirPods. The AirPods Max are a different story. These have to be the most disappointing headphones I have ever used. I cannot see how these are a flagship product? The flagship product is the Apple AirPods Pro 2 at the time of writing, and they are head and shoulders above the AirPods Max - by a country mile.PriceAirPods Max are categorically not a circa £500 headphone. Never in a million years. These headphones should be in price range of AirPods in ear headphones. Don’t get me wrong, they have a unique style, aluminium body and all the other “build quality” bits, but they sound “average”. There is nothing special here that justifies the price tag.Noise cancellationBose and Sony noise cancellation is just as good - but at a cheaper price point, and I’m sure there will be others in a pretty saturated market.CaseThe worst. It is just awful. I had seen commentary about this before buying, but seriously - this is the worst headphone case I have ever seen. I understand that it is designed to put the headphones into a battery conservation state, but come on? For £500 you would expect something a little bit more robust.Overall soundUnimpressive. Sounded very “average” to me. Nothing exceptional. But you would expect exceptional for this product. Lots of hype, lots of marketing, but seriously - you will get better audio elsewhere for less money (AirPods Pro 2, for example).I really wanted to like these. There is absolutely no way I could recommend these at the current price point. The noise cancellation is good - but it is good on other headphones too. Build material looks good too. A heavyweight set of headphones, with aluminium housings etc. The question is: “Does the materials used add value to the buyer?”. The short answer is, “No”.I returned mine the same day I bought them. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering buying these to try them in-store first, and see if they are for you. There absolutely is a market for these, and some people like them.I personally don’t, but I really like AirPods in-ear buds.Hope this review has been helpful for potential buyers.

A little pricey but a great set of headphones
i was pretty reluctant to purchase these as they are pricey however i was really impressed. The headphones have a sleek look and feel to them, the case is also really nice as well. The weight is good, they are on the heavier side but it isn't extreme. They are really easy to connect and i love love love the fact that i can switch from my iphone to my macbook with the click of a button and without having to take them off. The overall sound quality is great, the bass is clean and you can hear a major difference between these compared normal headphones (even high-end ones)The only thing thats stopping me from rating 5 stars is the price. I think £500 is a little bit too much for these even for someone like myself who loves apple and uses headphones every single day. I would probably price these around the £300 mark.
