While its use in cosmetics is well documented for its anti-acne properties, I have yet to mix it into one of my cream or lotion formulations because I don't currently have an acne problem and it is normally combined with other ingredients such as benzoyl peroxide and triclosan (which I don't currently have).However, this has found some limited use for me as a UV absorbing compound in wood finishes. Time will ultimately tell how effective it is at preventing sun damage to wood, but any added protection, great or small, is most welcome. It readily dissolves in water but, for my purposes, I dissolved it in ether before adding it to my oil and nonpolar solvent-based finish.

This product is perfect for my diy body care needs. I’m just surprised at how tiny it is.

This arrived extremely well packaged, with no clumping or discoloration (indications that it's been exposed to air, water, and light). No off-putting smells either which would indicate contaminations. Would recommend for cosmetic and home-lab use.

This stuff is exactly what they say it is. Pure and potent. A little goes a long way. The resealable Mylar style package I received weighed over an ounce of pure product. It dissolves well and mixes easily. It seems to work well for my application. Would buy again.
