Not NEARLY enough exercises.

I'm a piano teacher and I bought this book to try as a sight playing aid for my students.First off let me start by saying that I really like this series. Though I have only tried this book, I really like it it's methodical yet challenging approach. It progress in 'stages'; Each stage becoming more complicated by syncopations, hand shifts etc.Sight reading would more accurately be called rhythm recognition, in a way, students have less trouble knowing the notes. Most of the trouble comes in knowing how to play the rhythms which this book helps greatly with.All in all I would greatly recommend this series.
