Faithfull FAI612 Cold Chisel - 150 x 13 mm (6 x 1/2 Inch)

Very good quality chisel. Faithfull as a company make some good stuff, but you don't pay over the odd's for it like you would with some other company's who might call their ok quality stuff 'expert'.There's nothing 'expert' about having something made to the correct standard in the first place. All my engineering files are by Faithfull as well, and I have found them excellent over the years.I highly recommend this chisel, plus the other sizes available from Faithfull. I am NOT a 'fanboy', I just like buying good quality items that work/last.

They are what I wanted. Must admit I only wanted one chisel but they sell two at a time but use this size a lot. They seem decent. But they are chisel. The make normally is decent anyway for most things.

Good chisel but I wish we had just bought a normal sized one. We are yet to crackers open a fossil. Of course this may not be the chisel but our skill level 😂

This chisel was smaller than the size I went shopping for. I ordered it in error, So it was entirely my fault. I decided against sending it back etc and used it to remove old mortar to recycle a pile of old bricks. To my surprise, it held up and worked extremely well. Job completed in good time and with no damage to the bricks. I am Impressed with this good little chisel. I have only scored 3 stars on the Thickness, but that was down to my own error.

Was minimum order of 2 but i only received one, because they are so small looks like ones fell out in delivery van or something, replacement sorted quickly

Exactly what we needed for our 8 years old son. He used it with the hammer and protective glasses and he loved it.

We bought this for breaking open some small geodes.... I know the outer rock shell is tough, and even in our hands which are not those equivalent in power to that of a strongman, but the chisel still has a decided bend in it now.For small jobs, and those where more finesse than brute force is optimal I am sure this is the right tool, but don't expect to whack it more than a couple of times against harder rock without suffering!

I needed a good quality small-width chisel to help me carefully remove grout from around old tiles and from the tiles that remain in position. With this order I got three chisels with different quite narrow widths. Since getting them I use all three for those jobs and they have all kept their sharp edge after me changing over 20 large tiles. I can recommend these if you want good quality small chisels for those more delicate jobs. Their relatively short length is perfect for handling them too.
