I blindly stumbled on my favourite fragrance
While I know some of my family members have had things from this brand before it was completely new to me and I found myself excitedly acquiring it without even thinking which for a change allowed for a very pleasant surprise when I gave it a try. Namely the fact that both apple and mint make up the top notes which are both scents I really enjoy (also tastewise but I'm not drinking this lol), the other things like the lavender and patchouli are also things I like so it was a sure winner in my books. The bottle itself is rather simple but the fragrance itself lives up to its 'gimmick' of feeling aquatic even in terms of appearance inside the bottle itself. It feels like it will last a good amount of uses on top of the scent actually lingering for a notable amount of the day which certainly helps go towards justify the pricing which while I am certainly not used to getting ones of this quality it does feel genuinely recommendable if you have the budget for it or as a present of sorts.

Aquatic and a bit zingy - good office wear - Lighter than Drakkar Noir
I splash some of this on my clothes to be honest, it has a powerful aquatic scent, quite distinctive and zingy. I love Drakkar Noir - that's my favourite, and this is like a lighter, more aquatic version, that works well for the office. I stop noticing it quickly to be honest, I think I block the fragrance out. But others keep mentioning it, in a positive way, even when I can't smell it.It has good complexity, and development of scent, lasts about 6 hours or so. The projection is more localised, unless your body temp is high.At 100ml, it's good value, good packaging too if you want it as a gift.I think it's a good choice for summer.

Good smell but Drakkar Noir is still the best
Big fan of Drakkar Noir and had used it for 30 years . This product is good and the smell lasts but the smell itself is nowhere near that of Drakkar Noir .

A future classic and well worthy of a place in your fragrance line up
I wasn't entirely sure what to expect with this new fragrance from Guy Laroche. I purchased blind having only ever used the more traditional Drakkar Noir previously. I liked this alternative scent so figured it was worth a punt and to take a chance on if I would like this version of the old classic just as much. As it turns out, it was a great decision and this delightful fragrance is one I will now keep in my vanity cupboard line-up going forward. The bottle design itself is pretty bland compared to some more iconic designer brands out there at the moment, however, that being said, I am not a collector of bottles, nor will I be showing this off on a shelf so do I really care too much what a bottle that no-one will see looks like? In all honesty no. What I care about is what the juicy stuff inside smells like, how it makes me feel when wearing it, and how long it lasts for throughout the day. This particular bottle is the 100ml version which (at time of review) is currently priced at £37. That's a cracking price for what you are actually getting here. The scent reminds me a little of Cool Water by Davidoff albeit this scent I feel is a little stronger. Obviously it all depends on how much you use but, a little tends to go a long way here. That brings me on nicely to longevity. A good deep spray of this stuff in the morning initially feels a little too much, but it tones down reasonably quickly and after 20 - 30 minutes or so it eases up and gently caresses my nasal passages for the remainder of the day. When I finally return home from a hard day at the office, my partner says she can still smell the last vestiges of fragrance on me. No-one at work has complained that I have bathed in the stuff either, despite me asking for reassurance from some very honest co-workers. Thats a good thing and means that the balance of fragrances in Drakkar Bleu is just right.Would I recommend it? Hell yes! It's a great scent and sure to be another classic. As an everyday fragrance it is just about perfect. Don't think about it any longer, just get it now, you won't be disappointed!

Reminds me of using mouthwash when the bathroom still smells like shower gel
Scent lasts 2-4 hours on jackets. Masks smell of smoke on a night out or if you work in a bar environment. I find popstar perfume gift sets are a similar price and get way more compliments. Scent wasn't for me but appreciate trying. Somewhere between sweet lavender & mens cool sports scent.Didn't spray directly on skin as I had a bad reaction trying random fragrance recently.

This is one of my favourites
I truly enjoy the fragrance of this product. It has a luxurious scent, featuring vibrant citrus top notes, and it has impressive longevity. I've received numerous compliments

Fresh scent with aqua tones.
I would describe this as a sophisticated fragrance that looks and smells so much more expensive than it is.It is suitable for a wide age range because my teenage boys enjoy wearing it as much as my husband. They say the fragrance is suited to both day wear and evening as they have used it for college and work aswell as nights out and the scent is fresh and long lasting.I particularly like the design of the bottle as some can be quite gimmicky and awkward to get a good grip but this is a solidly shaped, elegant looking bottle that is comfortable to hold and easy to spray. The bottle contains 100ml of the fragrance and obviously a light mist will produce a lighter scent and using more will create a stronger and more intense scent….both smell amazing from a mum/wife’s point of view :)If I was to compare it to any other scent, it would probably be Cool Water by Davidoff due to the aqua tones but I would rate Drakkar Bleu better on account of its longevity and it being a more classy scent. This product is definitely deserving of a full 5 stars because its beautiful aesthetic and lasting, gorgeous smell is on par with fragrances triple the price so a great value buy that I would happily recommend to my fellow shoppers.

Drakkar Bleu My Love
It's a powerful fragrance, but not overpowering. The aquatic and fresh notes make it suitable for daytime wear, while the deeper notes provide a nice warmth for evenings. The longevity is impressive; I can still smell it faintly after a long day. The projection is good too, creating a noticeable but not intrusive scent trail.
