The media could not be loaded.  I just received this today but I’m excited to use it. I have one from a big name fabric store that I love and from what I’ve seen I am impressed with the price and sturdiness of this product. I have read other reviews saying it is hard to open and yes it is. I’m including a video that will show you two easy ways to open the box. Both options involve the straight little plastic piece below the latch. Option 1: Apply upwards pressure to the straight little plastic piece with your thumb as you use your index finger to flip the latch back. Option 2: Apply upwards pressure to the straight little plastic piece as you firmly press the lid of the case down. The latch should open on its own. I am curious how the plastic lid will hold up over time if you keep using option 2 to open the case. If I encounter any issues I’ll update my review. I hope this helps!

The bobbins are size 15, fitting both my Singer and my Brother.I have three nosy, what is this, let's play with it and see what happens, boy cats. Each of them has knocked this off the table at least once, two twice. I know because they wait to be sure I see him before he knocks it down.Not once did it come open.The case is clear enough to see what colors you have wound — sometimes (this happened to me and I can't believe only me) finding a treasure you forgot you had. Scrambling through all your threads, looking for the match, then off to the store to find fabric.Good deal for me.

Looked nice upon receipt, and seems to be a good quality case, but case closure piece broke off immediately, when simply attempting to close and fasten the case. When deciding to purchase this, I read reviews and thought it odd that people experienced this, until I did...immediately. Now having no closer piece makes the nice case pretty useless. Will find a rubberband to put around the case to prevent it from opening.As for the bobbins, haven't used them yet, but they look nice, so will update this later.

I love these pre-filled bobbins. I have so much trouble as an older person filling my bobbins when I sew. These are a sanity saver.

The case broke when I first opened it. It doesn't lock anymore. So it's useless.

This is the 4th one I've bought. I got 2 for friends and 2 for me. They are great for storing the many bobbins I use as I have colors in one case and neutrals in another. I can pack the whole case to take to retreats or sewsocials. They are sturdy.

Grandma was looking for something like this and this is exactly what she was looking for!
