EASY to Use; Great Results
I've been really lucky, so far, & haven't needed to color my hair in any way until this year, when it's begun to get just a little dull/washed-out looking. If you're a medium brunette, you probably feel my pain: time in the sun used to mean more natural highlights, but now it just means an all-over lighter/duller brown.I didn't want to "color" my hair; I just wanted to revive it. I checked reviews here and found two solutions: Sunsilk and John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Liquid Shine Luminous Color Glaze-6.5 oz (192 ml) .I've tried them both and like them both. I alternate between the two and so far, prefer the Sunsilk because it gives me the look closest to my "natural" color--brunette with an auburn cast. Just a single treatment every 2 weeks or so is doing the job for me (you do need to use it about 3 times the first week or two to "get started"). As I mentioned, I'm just using it to revive my color somewhat & I really like the results. The photo on the package made me nervous, but no, it won't turn a brunette into a Cyndi Lauper redhead in a single treatment. Just gives a lovely auburn cast to your hair & you control the depth of color by: 1. Length of time you leave it on your hair 2. How much you use during the treatment AND 3. How often you use it.I'd even recommend this to men to help revive their haircolor; it's as easy to use as a conditioner. Shampoo as usual, rinse, apply Sunsilk, wait 3-5 minutes, rinse, done. Just be careful--where it touches skin, it can stain. The results are very natural looking & Sunsilk leaves your hair feeling soft & conditioned, as well. Highly recommended; I'm glad I tried it!

Great product to hide the grays!
I'm 55 and have medium brown hair with natural red highlights and gray in my bangs and temples. This product darkens my hair to a dark brown-enhances my red highlights and colors my gray to a light caramel. The first time I used it I left it on for the full 5 minutes. After 2 washes it was gone. I decided that there must be an easier way to keep the color. I took a travel size shampoo bottle and filled it with 1/2 of the Color Boost and 1/2 of John Friedas billiant Brunette conditioner (my fav) and shook it until it was mixed. Now I use this as my everyday conditioner. The color get refreshed every time I wash and condition my hair. Plus my hair is soft and shiny.

Happy with the product!
I figure supply and demand dictates the price but still find price a bit steep. Still I love the product so I guess that is the price I pay. It arrived promptly and was what I requested.

Good touch up color
I use this between regular permanent colorings. It covers roots somewhat making them less noticeable. It really brightens my color overall. It is very easy to use. I just use it in place of hair conditioner in the shower.

I can't live without this product.
I can't find it in stores. Is it being withheld from the shelves? Is there a plot? I don't need a cream rinse after washing; just this product!

Great product!
Love this product. It gave my hair a nice auburn glow and warmth (also shiny). I have light brown hair that has some blonde highlights and burnette lowlights. My hair is about 25-30% gray. I was hoping to cover some gray--which didn't happen. But the warmth and auburn glow is really nice, and I think it will allow me to go one more month without redoing highlights. Too bad this seems to have been discontinued.
