Seventh GenerationLaundry Stain Remover, Free & Clear, Unscented, 16 Fl Oz

This is my go to stain remover. It is unscented (important to me) and works well on most stains. I reccoment spraying the stain and leaving it outside the washer for a minute or two to give it time to work.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is the only stain remover I have found that actually works on my kiddos food stains. Love this product!

Way better than the whole foods market brand stain remover.

I absolutely need a pre-wash spray, but want to avoid the strong toxic chemicals found in Shout, Zout, Resolve and Spray-N-Wash. Those brands work well and are probably a little stronger than this, but I also found that they can leave permanent stains, especially if I let them soak on my clothes for too long. The Seventh Generation spray does not seem to cause any permanent damage at all. I will typically spray it on an article of clothing right away (like a t-shirt), toss the clothing in a laundry hamper and sometimes circle back a few days later and spray it again. It works fine for "normal" uses like underarm stains or blood; sometimes it needs a few applications to fully dissolve the latter but it does dissolve it.The company also recommends that you use it in conjunction with an Oxy-powder for even better results. Seventh Generation used to make their own Oxy-powder which was very good, but sadly they no longer make it. Still, I find this spray more than adequate on its own for my typical day-to-day needs.

This Seventh Generation Stain Remover is amazing for anyone wanting an unscented, effective solution. It's tough on stains but gentle on clothes, and the fact that it’s free from harsh chemicals is a big plus. I feel comfortable using it on both my family’s laundry and delicate items. It’s powerful enough to tackle food and dirt stains, and I love that it’s safe and eco-friendly.

I had a blood stain on some clothing that multiple cycles with spray-and-wash didn't put a dent in. After the third wash I just relegated it to around the house duty. When I got the Seventh Generation spray a few months later, I figured I'd try it just for fun. Sprayed it on, let it sit overnight and washed in cold water and no trace of the stain remained. Zero exaggeration, a months old blood stain completely removed!
