Great little headlamp with the bonus of being a flashlight.The most important things to me that this features are...1. 1 aa so it's easy to get batteries and it's light weight.2. Only useful functions are readily excessible... it would be better if a little light like this didn't strut around like almost every other "tactical" flashlight and feature a "self defense strobe," but at least they hide it unless you hold the power button for 3 seconds so that you have to really want to turn it on to be higher profile as a biker. Can we be honest? If you need a tactical strobe to defend yourself or disorient an enemy in close quarters, your light will need to be a lot brighter and the strobe HAS to have a dedicated, instant on button. If anyone making a 1 ounce 6 function flashlight is reading this, please note how awesome it is that you only have to click the power button 3 times to go from on to low to off.... cycling through to the 4th function or hitting a button combination remenisent of nintendo cheat codes while the mugger patiently waits for you to prepare your self defense is not realistic or helpful. Nor is it helpful to have to cyclce through all these options like a cheaper dj laser light show every time you need help looking in a dark corner for half a second....okay, rant over.3. The headstrap is comfy and lightweightThoughts for improvement:1. It would be nice if this had a forward clickie momentary on switch2. Removable pocket clip please!Overall, a good pocket headlamp.

You really get a lot of value for your money with this flashlight from Colorday. Great build quality that is on par with my Fenix E05 and Streamlight Microstream (which are both single aaa lights). You can see in the picture that the Colorday is about the same length as the Microstream but a little bigger in diameter because it uses a single aa. I really prefer push button switches like on the Colorday and Microstream over twist style lights like the Fenix E05. The Colorday has a better button switch than the Microstream and it’s very simple to control. I also like how it can be taken off the headlamp mount for EDC pocket carry. I just wished they would have included a nice pocket clip with it, I would have happily paid a few dollars more for an optional pocket clip. But truly the value is there for the money. Not only do you get a high quality flashlight but also a nice clamshell case that could be used for a variety of things, a name brand energizer battery, and the headlamp mount with elastic band. This light works great in headlamp mode! I am very pleased. The light can easily be adjusted up or down while wearing as a headlamp and it stays in place. Weight with battery is on par with the Petzle Tactikka+ which weighs 3.15oz w/batteries on my scale whereas the Colorday with battery and headlamp strap weighs 3.2 oz. The thing I don’t like about headlamps that take 3 aaa batteries is that it is a weird number and they aren’t sold that way, so you end up with an oddball battery. The Colorday is an elegant and minimalist design in that it only takes 1 aa. This is a great light. If you don’t want to pay $60+ for a similar CR123 light and want something that runs off inexpensive easy to find aa batteries, get this one!! You’ll be happy with it.

I must say Im pleasantly surprised. For the price point, this is a great little device. The charger battery is cool in a jam and seems to work fine. I woundnt leave battery charging when not home or sleeping, but I use a legit charger anyway. Ive owned many top of the line flashlights so I do have a bit of knowledge/experience of flashlights. If you are expecting Zebra/olight/ect quality you would be foolish but only slightly disappointed. Seems very sturdy and throws more light then I expected. I have had it for a couple months with no issues.I was looking for a small edc/headlamp that wasnt expensive and could take some abuse. Being able to carry it on person (barely noticeable) and when needed, hands free headlamp, made it a great option. I carry alot of items daily so this fit the bill nicely.Im a contractor who beats on and loses flashlights a lot. Having lost a couple of $60- $100 flashlights, this $20 light will hurt a lot less if left in a crawlspace for all eternity.The only Cons i have (for a $20 Light) would be the lack of a belt clip and no magnet. I ended up epoxying a strong magnet to the inside of the battery cap, under the spring. The spring was a pain to reinstall but worked out ok.In all, good buy for $20. I probably buy another when I lose it.

This is a really nice little headlamp for the price . I am an electrician as well as a backpacker so I have seen $$$ and the cheap ones . This is a nice lamp. All alloy body , comfy head strap being nice and wide . Not like the straps on the cheap ones I use at work. I was looking for my "big name headlamp" before I went on a overnight hiking trip. When I found it I went to open the plastic door to change the batteries and the clip that holds it closed broke. What ever , better in my living room than on my trip right. I had to get another one quick. I found this guy and said I'll never buy another plastic headlamp again so this was the choice for me. I just got back from my trip and it was perfect ! Really easy to use , really comfy. Common double A Battery, great features . This light has my vote for sure ! I'm buying two more ! All I did is put a smear of grease on the threads and put a couple extra batteries in the case. From construction to camping , hiking or what ever it may be this light is plenty.Update - this season I was going through my backpack trying to shave weight and make things make sense. I lost one of these headlamps so I ordered another right away. I ended up finding it so now I have a spare. Well while going through my big pack before my next trip I took the head lamp section from the second one I ordered and tossed it in my emergency dry bag . Makes total sense to keep all your gear on the same battery and to be able to replace your headlamp should it bonk on you with the same unit on the fly or just use it as a flashlight makes this light best hands down. When you type in LED head lamp this should be first page!

At first, I thought I had received a broken or malfunctioning headlight I was considering returning it for a replacement, but it turns out there is a tiny round piece of metal that sits on the positive side of the battery. This tiny piece is not secured to the inside so it was sitting on the side of the battery tube. Once I figured it out, the headlight workd well. For this reason, it's a 4 star review.

The delivery was fast. The package came with a pouch and the elastic head band that was useful to adjust the size to fit our needs. I tried it out to walk to the dark basement and it was bright and wonderful. No need to turn on any light. Product is true as described by the seller. Next step I will bring it outdoor to use and test it out more. Thank You.

Nice bright light, seems to be good quality. Two brightness settings, strobe and SOS all work great.I hope the rubber mount on the headband will last.

Very nice light and love the small pouch that come with it. The light is very bright and lightweight. I tried it out in my walkin closet and it was very bright and the head strap is very comfortable. I buy this for our up coming camping trip. After I test it today, I will tell my friends to buy this same light for the camping trip. I don't want them to "borrow" from me. The other good thing is I can use the rechargeable AA battery in it.

Very nice head light, very good quality. Just used it to do some installation work in my basement, very bright and convenient.Would definitely take it for camping. Comes with a hard case, easy to carry and pack.

Speedy transaction. The headlamp is a good size and light weight, also comes with a hard shell case. The head band is comfortable to wear. Love the different options for the light: high & low beam, strobe, and SOS. It's easy to operate. It can also adjust easily to any direction. Great product, highly recommend.

I am surprised to see the light is very bright for such a small device. (See attached pics).I can see the road very clearly during my late night walk.

I really like the way they use rubber materials to hold on to the turnable light, it is so endurable and won’t break. They also include a good battery already, which is rare.
