Great way to mount things without drilling holes.
The state I live in now requires license plates on off road atv’ s verses just the stickers. Used these to mount license plates on a Raptor, Warrior, Timberwolf and a Recon without drilling any holes in my machines. I have also used them to mount driving lights as they were intended to be used. Work great, bought extras for my tool box because they have so many uses.

Solid clamp
These work well. The rubber cushioning unfortunately between sizes that I needed. I used one large and one small together to adjust.

Excellent product
These are much better than I anticipated. Quality high grade castings, with every thing needed to install. The package had a little heft to it because these are the real deal. Highly recommended

Don't expect a perfect fit. Also cheap soft aluminum.
Well, they're made in China and only nine bucks for the set, so what do you expect?IF, and I mean IF, you happen to have a bar that is exactly the right diameter, I'm sure this can work well. In my case, the bar I was mounting them on is just slightly larger than 1" in diameter. This meant that the thinnest rubber sleeve was not quite tight enough and the clamps could still twist on the bar, but the next size thicker rubber sleeve was too tight and it was not possible to get the screws started. Also, these are made of plain aluminum - not an aluminum alloy - probably recycled beer cans or something, because the metal is very soft and the if you tighten just slightly too much, it will pull the threads out. The threads are not very deep, and the little screws are short, so there's not a lot of thread engagement.I have to keep reminding myself not to buy the cheap Chinese stuff from Amazon just because it's cheaper. More and more I'm realizing it's worth spending the extra money to get the better quality product.I managed to make these work for my application, but only because I have a well-equipped shop and now how to make stuff work. But I had to supply my own rubber sleeve of a good thickness, from materials I had on hand, and I had to drill out and tap a hole for a larger screw. I would have preferred to spend more for something that I could have just clamped onto the bar and be done with it, instead of spending an extra hour modifying and fabricating a solution to make up for the cheesy product.
