Q: How does the Sidewinder connect to the winch line? I can't find any installation instructions or pictures describing that connection.

There is a snap ring that holds a pin in right behind the lettering. You flip it upside remove the snap ring and pin. Then insert your winch line into the recessed area in the back and install the pin and snap ring.

Q: Does this work with your spydura synthetic rope which has a sort of bulky metal end on it. It came with my M8000 S......

I replaced my Warn winch cable with a synthetic rope. The Sidewinder accepted the bulky metal end with ease, no issues. Great product! Will hopefully be using it a bit over the weekend in Moab, Utah!
