Works as expected. Not near as loud as they used to be.

Its a good size and isn't super loud either. It feels pretty sturdy. My little loves playing with it.

Bought for my grandson and works as well as the ones I bought for my own kids. (Wood) the handle is a bit too long for him 18 months so it doesn’t pop well because it’s vertical enough.
