A SOUTHERNERS OPINION
I grew up enjoying my grand mother's canned watermelon rind. Whoever came up with this receipe should be taught some food facts. I only tasted one bite and spit it out. It is like eating a bowl of sugar with 2 more sides of sugar. I put it down the garbage disposal. Please every one, thus is not what it is supposed to taste like.

ANTS!
Had ants inside the bubble-wrap, plus not as good as grandma's from when I was a child. Were too soft, and were pickle-like (not sweet and no flavor of cinnamon and nutmeg). Will try canning/preserving my own watermelon rinds like grandma.

Not very good at all..
The brine was overly sweetened and the product was just not good at all. There was nothing "pickled" about this product. It was just a sticky unpleasant tasting mess. I threw them out. I would not buy again nor would I recommend them to anyone.

I know it seems weird.....but try it anyway
The previous reviewer wrote a review without ever having tried the product, which seems inherently wrong. I can honestly say I have had pickled watermelon rinds dozens of times and LOVE them. Who is to say what is gross and what is frugality? Millions of people eat dogs and horses, which I would never try, but I don't condemn them. Anyway, please try them. They are great. They are tangy and sweet and with just enough crunch. Yum!
