The cat had to be given medication, and the liquid went everywhere when I tried to syringe her with it. Fortunately, I had some powder around. If you have small scoops as used for filling shells and cartridges, you can accurately fill the pills with powder. Size 5 pills are tiny, perfect cat size, and you can get them down a cat way easier than liquid medication. Lube them up with the suet they use for winter feeding of birds and the cat won’t even complain much.

These are nice capsules and make meds be easier for my Mom. These are small, brightly colored, easy to swallow. She has more than one pill that needs to be cut and they are so small, easy to lose or drop. These go right down the hatch!Since there are other colors, it makes keeping track easier. This size is quite small, and only the small bit of pill fits into it. This is small enough that you could probably pull a cat with it.

Following the lead of some of the folks leaving reviews and answering questions for a pill gun for pets, I bought these to get tiny pills into my cat. The pills were too small to fit properly in the pill gun, so often they would fall out, or the plunger would just slide past them and leave them in the tip instead of down the cat's throat. Many pills for cats have to be cut into half or even quarters (use a pill cutter!) due to cats' small size, so finding a way to reliably get medicine in my cat has been difficult. And then I found these! Size 5 works great for quarter pills and are easy to put in the capsules. I am so pleased that she's getting the medication she needs and I don't have to try to pill her repeatedly as she gets more and more upset. Some commenters said that Size 5 was a little too small, so to be on the safe side, I recommend getting both Size 4 and Size 5 to determine which fits your pills best.

The capsule quality is fine, but I didn't realize how few capsules I would be receiving until I saw the package. I feel like I was ripped off. It would have been much cheaper to buy a bottle of vitamins from the dollar store, pour the contents out, and use those capsules. I should have received at least 1000 empty capsules for $10. Like I said, the quality was fine but these were most certainly not worth 10 cents apiece. The price was a bit ridiculous, and in all honesty I suggest that anyone who needs capsules look around the web and find a better deal. And empty capsule shouldn't cost more then a capsule that is not empty. If this company wants to send me nine more bags for free that would be fine with me. Then I would not feel like I had been ripped off. These capsules are worth $0.01 each and no more than that.
