Came with everything needed to grow bonsai trees and a nice selection of trees as well. Would recommend to a beginner bonsai tree enthusiast.

Seeds didn’t germinate. Very disappointing, especially since I grow my own garden from seeds and never have an issue getting the seeds to spout. **Update - The customer service I received from the seller was great.

Only the black pine seeds (and only 2 of those) actually sprouted. Extremely disappointing

Everything you need to start growing from seeds is here. 4 bags of seeds. My 4 bags had 5 seeds of each type of plant. After a month, the flame tree sprouted quickly, the Japanese black pine was a little slower, and the rest didn't sprout but ill use the extra seeds to try again. I might have to make sure I use a nail file to scratch the seed before soaking it for germination like the instructions say.

I received this product quickly however it was poorly packaged. Surprisingly it arrived in one piece even though it sounded like it was in a million pieces in the envelope. When I opened the package, I saw that the glue had dissolved on one end of the box thus spilling the contents into the nonpadded envelope. It is excruciatingly hot in the Florida and glue evaporates on packages all the time so I don't totally blame the manufacturer on this one but it is a simple fix. Tape the ends of the box and problem solved!I was surprised to see 4 pots because I thought it only came with 3. Score for me! I do not have a green thumb whatsoever and I expected this kit to be dummy proof. I was disappointed to see it came with minimal directions. So I turned to YouTube and watched a few videos. The first step is to soak the seeds in a bowl of water for 24 hours. I read that if the seeds sink, they are good. If they float that means they are usually empty shells that will not germinate. I don't know how true that is but it is what I have read on several instructional sites.I was frustrated to see that two packs of seeds floated. All of them 😔 My favorite one that I was most excited for, the Jacaranda, all floated. Bummer. I had 2 seeds from the pack Picea Abies sink and all the seeds from Delonix Regia (the red one😁) sink. So not a total loss.The nutrients pack came in one pack instead of divided up into 4 packs. They included 4 little envelopes for the nutrition but I don't know why since they didn't utilize them. 🤔Anyway, I can't wait until the first 24 hours is up and I can plant these little buggers. So excited!

I bought this for my bestie for Christmas and she loves it. She has a green thumb and I’m confident she will be able to grow these and she is creative enough to make them beautiful.
