Reotemp 16 Inch Fahrenheit Backyard Compost Thermometer with Digital Composting Guide

New to composting and love this. Easy to read and know what the temp of the compost is. I leave it in the composer and take it out to spin the wheel. So far so good I was pleased to see how quick it works. A must for a composer. Seems well build and well designed can check the pile in a second.

These work great for checking compost temperature. I would have liked the longer one but for the money these are good enough.

Really impressed with this compost thermometer! Excellent quality & perfect length for round 3 foot circumstance welded wire composting bins. I was tired of not knowing what state my pile was in at any given time. This thermometer is a cost effective solution to get that feedback I was missing. A lot of work goes into a compost pile, you want every tool that makes that work easier. This tool does exactly that @ a reasonable price point! I will be buying more of these.

Bought to keep an eye on the bale temperatures after harvesting as moist bales can cause bale fires (and barn loss). Accurate enough for this use, but would have liked a slightly more sturdy and pointed probe for bale insertion. Dial not that easy to read for older eyes.
