Bought as a gift and receiver was very pleased with it.

Vogue Knitting does some great stuff with this book. I really love the patterns in here. All of the patterns, except for 2, are rated intermediate, so think about that when you go to buy this book.

Good overview of lace knitting. Patterns are mostly strange. Not practical or pretty.

A few of the patterns are 'must makes' for me, even though I usual knit finer lace than the patterns in the book. However, every pattern is interesting because of construction ideas and the lace patterns used in the garments.

I have never done charted lace so I made the Wending Fern scarf in DK weight yarn as a gift. It came out great, I may make another for myself.

I like the diverse patterns available in this book. Dresses, scarves, gloves, etc. I'm an intermediate level knitter. Although some of the patterns are above my level, I'm looking forward to the challenge of completing a few of these patterns. Very lovely designs!

As ever Vogue Knitting compiles inspiring patterns to enhance every knitters queue and to motivate learning new techniques, advancing the craftwork. This volume is a good addition to a knitter’s library.
