A decent alternative to TMS for me
I do like my device. As a comparison, I have undergone transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) treatment for depression for 6-8 weeks at my psyschiatrist's office using a device that's 1000s of times more expensive. And yes, maybe it does a better job for some people, but for me I've found that this convenient home treatment from the Neuromyst device is probably just as effective more me. I do wish the screen showed a visual head placement of the nodes on the screen for the various preset modes. But other than that, the device seems to work as advertised. I was skeptical at first when I ordered it, but I thought for this price point, what have I got to lose. Plus, it saved me from having to get the more expensive (both money and time) TMS treatments for a convenient alternative that I can perform myself in the convenience of my own home. I would recommend this device to others to at least give it a try. It seems to help with my focus and my mood. It's an additive to my depression medication regimen.

Dispositivo revolucionario / Revolutionary device
I discovered TDCS/TACS (transcranial direct current stimulation/transcranial alternating current stimulation/) technology by accident just a few months ago. To my surprise and benefit, I came across Neuromyst: a peculiar device for TDCS/TACS within the reach of a common consumer, which fulfills many more of the expectations I might have had about its performance and effects (all positive).Unfortunately we have a lot of prejudices around what is not approved by traditional medicine or wellness-related institutions. However, for those who dare to consider something different, a non-invasive method that is easy to use and has a wide range of applications, it can be an extraordinary experience in terms of wellness and health, both physical and mental. The effects of using the device were very noticeable in my case. I stopped consuming pain medication and nootropics (although this was not my main objective, nor do I believe that the device was designed for that, I see it as an extremely positive unexpected effect). The variety of montages and their applications can only have well being, it is almost unbelievable that through such a simple (almost minimalist) device, one can access states of relaxation, well being, positive thinking, deep meditation, ease of learning, concentration, sleep, memory, and so on, only by using the device a few minutes a day. There are many, many studies that support this and many more studies are still being conducted on TDCS/TACS and its impact on many diseases challenges. The conclusions agree on the benefits of its application in many fields of medicine, such as rehabilitation, sleep, depression, cognition, addiction management, etc.I highly recommend reading about the concepts surrounding this technology to better understand it and become familiar with the elements that make it up. It's not complicated really, but it helps a lot to understand how it works and how to use it.I will surely buy another device again for my family or to give as a gift, it is very difficult not to seriously consider it, after experiencing both immediate and short and medium term results. In short, there is no other device I can recommend more. I believe this technology has the potential to replace a broad spectrum of drug, supplement and substance-based health solutions of all kinds. If its use becomes widespread enough, it could revolutionize a large part of healthcare services as we know them today. As if that weren't enough, the customer service is second to none, top notch.I cannot recommend Neuromyst highly enough, yet I highly recommend it, hoping that this recommendation will prove useful to you.

Vibration sans vibrator?
Difficult perhaps for the average person to imagine electricity not connected to some interim spinning device where the spin of the electrons magically converted into something else that is magically palpable as vibration. Producing a palpable effect on a palpable body. Unless the probability of the entire arrangement blowing up seems much greater than the sum of all possible outcomes.... leading to an oddly innate real reluctance to try something like this on one's self without any government supervised super vision.Where the advertised product is an electric device that will deliver an electric current directly to your bodydepending on where you the user, place the probes which will, dispense raw, and as you are currently constantly told deadly and other ways very very dangerous, electricity directly onto your very sensitive and these days wildly subject to insurance claim prone body. This unit can demonstrate the difference so you might consider finding out a bit more about the way you and the rest of you, that does most of the work, processes electricity. Because once you live through this you are going to begin to question the way you seem to think someone has explained your nervous system to you and you are going to question the you(sed) (y) who we(re) perfectly happy with the explanation relative to the observed real ity bitty things the explanation was theoretically designed to explain. To you in plainEnglish. At 30 Hz and 2.4 mA with the anode and the cathode placed on the temples you might get the same sensation you experience in a room with a ceiling fan spinning reflecting shadows against light. Youcan read with the lights flickering and there might be some sensation at the points of contact thatif you have had acupuncture, might remind you of the moment the needle passed the skin air barrierand that lingers as long as there is contact which you can rub the sponges around in and dissipate.I have felt a bit of vibration while moving the electrodes around but not a lot at this output level usingtacs. At 30 Hz and 3.0 mA you can get a good deal of either vibration if you hold the electrodes in your handsand modulate the connection with your thumbs on the sponges or a more intense itching/heat\stinging sensation that builds over a few minutes no matter where I put the electrodes on my head/front/back/topor sides.Using tacs at 30 Hz and 2.4mA for 20 minutes seems to have a similar effect to drinking a cup of coffeeor some other drugged beverage which might be pH 12 water or the like and not having the side effects of having to lug the watter around or eventually stop to dispense with the bit you no longer need.So there you have it. The Arc of the covenant that fits in your pocket.

Made in USA
Is made in the USAInterface could be betterIt’s really annoying that you can’t hold down the button to increase the time you have to press it every time you want to increase it by a minuteUnfortunately, you can’t save custom profiles so I definitely can see that button for the time wearing out if you use it alot with long times
