Great journal
For starters, the B6+ is the perfect size for me. Not as cumbersome as the A5 - yet plenty big enough to write in - and the pocket journals are too small for me. The softcover is great, and with only 123 pages, this journal is fairly thin, and weighs nothing. It takes me a year to write out 123 pages anyway. The paper is a very pleasing off-white, and resists ghosting very well. I bought it ruled. The line spacing is perfect, and it’s a joy to write in. The colours of the Leuchtturm1917 are brighter than you might realize - kind of playfully cheerful. I went for the grey because I don’t care for this style, and I kind of wish I got the black. Lots of German, French and English inside, which is fun. Each page is headed by a useless date/datum line. The pages are numbered if you want to make an index in the front. Otherwise, it’s very much like a Moleskine. The paper quality isn’t really that different between the two, but Leuchtturm’s is marginally better. Moleskin colours are more subdued and classy, but the aspect ratio of the Leuchtturm is better. They’re wider journals, which is nicer to write in. Moleskine only makes their medium size (B6) in hardcover, so I passed. The Leuchtturm is a little more expensive, but it’s also a little better in most every way. Both brands are too expensive for what you get, but if you try to save money by getting a cheaper journal then you will immediately regret it. You can’t go wrong with either. It’s too bad that stores don’t carry many Leuchtturm journals, so you can’t see the bold colours up front. Any way, in conclusion, get the Leuchtturm1917 B6+ ruled journal. It’s fantastic.

Perfect notebook
I used to use another well known brand but the quality declined so i decided to try LEUCHTTURM and soooo glad I did! After heavy use, the edges on the cover stay intact. Love that it has a pocket on the back and book mark ribbons. The paper quality is also great. The band keeps the notebook tidy. Also great to have vibrant color options. If you like taking pen/pencil paper type notes, this is worth the money.

Nice addition to my weekly planner
I use a weekly planner from LEUCHTTURM1917 for meetings only, but I use this Notizbuch Paperback (B6+) for my daily tasks, shopping lists and notes according to "Getting Things Done" system. Its really useful, light, I take it with me all the time. I always buy LEUCHTTURM1917. They are just the best.
