Love these, got them for my granddaughter she is 8 and she loves them, still has them sitting out to play with. We did help her only because she gets bored sometimes when taking a little time but I believe she could have done it with minimal help by herself as long as you're there for assistance if needed. It comes with 6 items to be assembled and she enjoyed each one for a different reason. Great pack of fun for very little money, well worth it. All in all it's great fun for you and child or grandchild to spend time together making some awesome memories and items you can play with and learn interesting things about. We didn't encounter any missing parts, any little part you could accidentally drop and lose we always had extras in the packaging.

The media could not be loaded. Great little kits. For age 8 and up with adult help but kids 10+ could probably do alone. The kits have pretty clear instructions and they are fun to build. Below is an example of the holographic projector. One of the easier builds. Tip- hot glue will make building faster as it dries so much quicker.

Our 7 yo loves to figure out technical stuff, always creating 'machines' and building things. This gift set gets him to read, hone his engineering skills, and ends up with a neat little gadget that he built all by himself. It feels very rewarding to him and grows his confidence.The material is strong enough in most cases, but sometimes we've had to fix some broken parts with wood glue as they got broken when he tried to pry the pieces out of the sheet or while building. But hey, that just adds to the learning process.

My 8 year old grandson and I had a lot of fun building these! We were able to put them all together and have them function as intended. I’m fairly impressed with these items. Our favorites are the levitating magnets and the one with the marbles.

Hours of educational fun

These kits are simply awesome.

But one for each of my 7 and 10 year-old grandchildren and they spent the first evening and all the next afternoon building them and listening to us explain the principles being demonstrated by these structures. The seven-year-old needed some help pushing things into place but for the most part was able to follow construction pictures with limited Help reading instructions.

The written instructions are not good; the manufacturer should hire a better translator so the instructions use proper English and grammar. There is an honest attempt to explain the STEM, but it falls short. The diagrams are helpful in building. Hands-on is great, however would like to see more content. An interactive website for each kit would go a LONG way in adding educational value.
