Worked perfectly to allow me to connect case header to motherboard with a very awkward placement of the header under the graphics card.

I got this header extension because I wanted to throw a better video card in my old EliteDesk 800 G1 Tower from HP. I also had to get an adapter (also on Amazon) to allow for an aftermarket power supply. The USB 3 header on my mainboard was right in-line with where my (long) graphics card would sit in the case and the default USB header stuck up way too high. This header was able to flex just enough that it fit under the graphics card perfectly. It definitely saved the day.

Worked great. Needed it to fit a 6600xt gpu in a optiplex 9020 build.

I’ve always had a bit of an issue with how usb 3.0 cables look like. In this case I needed an extension because the cable couldn’t reach the spot on the motherboard. This worked perfectly and looked a lot better than a standard usb 3.0 internal cable. Seems durable and like it will last

The end of the cable for my case USB ports was too long to make the turn from my mobo header into the hidden cable area of my case. The thinness of the extension cable did the trick.

If you've built enough PC's, you've cursed manufacturers at least a few times for the stiff and unnecessarily long USB 3.0 header cables the use. I'll never understand why no one has figured out a way to make these cables more flexible, or more importantly an appropriate length! Especially small form factor cases like the Fractal Ridge/Terra and others like them. Building in a sub 10 liter case is hard enough without having to mangle these cables into place without snapping the header off the motherboard.I use these extensions in almost every build I do, not because I need the extra length (there's always at least a foot of extra cable already) but because it allows me to connect everything without putting all the strain on the motherboard from the factory cable. This extension is very flexible and low profile, which makes cable management so much easier.

Upgrading a HP elitedesk 800 G1 desktop with a new GPU and it was long enough to cover the original. This one fit underneath it and plugged into the existing usb 3.0 perfectly. Feels sturdy and everything works. Cannot speak for the speed of the 3.0 with an extension but I havent noticed any decrease in performance.

The product worked perfectly other than not having a clip. It went perfectly flat under the installed fans on the bottom of the board and routed towards the back to connect on the case usb3 cable. The issue is i was just moving things around managing the cables and it was just off. I'll make it work with some electrical tape but it shouldn't be the way.Ok nvm it disconnected from the board side the same way on the other end when I thought it was secure. Might be returning this. Hopefully there are better options.
