This is best for under mower deck, anti-stick compound
This Fluid Film has worked the best for preventing dried grass from sticking to the underside of a mower deck. This allows grass to be scrapped off with ease, even 1 day later. This past Spring has been very wet, and can create difficulty scaping wet grass clippings out from under the deck. Especially if time does not allow you to remove in a timely fashion. This is also a great rust preventative on metal. I highly recommend Fluid Film.

Works good as an undercoating.
I used this for all my cars for the last 3 years. I live in wisconsin and all these veicles were unprotected for the first 10 years of their lives. I like to think I may extend their life by a few years, but I don't really know. I don't mind the smell and it only lasts for a few days and then not at all.

It's easy to undercoat your vehicle
A lot of people spray this on, but I've had good luck with putting the can in a pot with lukewarm water and slowly warming it up. Then I pour some into a shallow tray or a disposable bowl and use a paint brush to apply it to the bottom of the vehicle, taking the time to thoroughly coat all exposed metal surfaces other than the muffler. The end result won't be as good as a professional undercoating job, but it's a lot better than nothing at a small fraction of the cost. You'll use a quart or maybe even less each time, and you will want to recoat the underside every 1-2 years or so. One can of this could last up to 8 years, maybe even longer.

Rust protection with a smell
I like this product for rust protection but it does have a smell that lasts awhile. When this can is finished I’ll go back to WoolWax product which I like better

Must-have for new england winters
This keeps my vehicles rust-free really well despite the copious amounts of road salt here in northern new england. You have to reapply every year or twice a year because it washes off.As far as I know this is also non-toxic.Other than washing off after a few months it smells bad for a few days after spraying on.Don't spray it on rubber parts because they'll swell.Best to apply when its still 50-60 outside so it flows well and easy to spray on.

Make sure to warm it up beforehand
Saves a lot of money vs buying the aerosol cans. Granted have to buy an applicator gun but worth the price if you have an air compressor. Just make sure to warm it up before going to use it, I normally bring it inside from the garage for a day or 2 and then don’t have many issues loading the bottle up on the sprayer

If you're looking at this… buy it
More than 20 years ago I saw an ad for fluid film, it intrigued me so I called the company who had the distribution rights in the carefully explained its application, what it will and will not do, and so I ordered some. Every year without exception I have purchased at least 2 gallons or more and I use an airless sprayer to put this on absolutely everything for the winter. Living in Northeast Ohio we have issues with salt, metal corrodes and rusts, fluid film will absolutely protect your outdoor products. I spray this on the deck of my lawnmower, Rototiller, snowblower… You wouldn't believe the difference it makes during the winter with a coating of this stuff as well as anything I don't want to rust. But the main reason I buy it is because I climb underneath my 2005 F3 50 super duty that still to this day does not have a spot of rust on it. Want to know why? Because I make the investment of less than $100 per year to soak the undercarriage and inside every area where water and salt can get. The results, the truck looks like new. If you're even considering doing this, do not buy the PB blaster knockoff, I've already tried it. It's great if you just have a walk behind lawnmower and that's it. If you have a car to do you have a need to buy about four cases of the stuff and it's still nowhere near as powerful as an airless sprayer. Here's a little tip, not everyone has an airless sprayer laying around the house so run up to Home Depot or your local rental equipment center and pick one up for about $35 day. You can thank me later
