A good buy 8 out of 10
Works very well. Good sound quality and great battery life ( 8 hours plus on a single charge). It has a built speaker which is surprisingly loud, and acceptable quality, but i would suggest a bespoke external speaker if you want better. Its a nice solid build quality and easily fits in your pocket. The e book reader (which wasnt something i wanted in an mp3 player) is not very good, it is very limited on format of e books and the small screen is difficult to read from and scroll through. It would have been better to exclude this featureValue for money and perfectly useable for its intended purpose. It comes with an unbranded micro sd card so it may be better to buy the smaller capacity, save the money and buy a branded sd card to provide the size required and ensure longevity.

Bought 3 already
I have bought 3 of these so far, and I am about to buy a 4th. Much better than the £15 or less ones. Good functions, easy to upload music from a computer, volume is good if needing loud. Also, it has a built-in microphone for listening to music inside, without earphones. Lastly, has a shuffle to play all music types randomly - perfect for my weird taste in music and moods!!

Bargain.
Pleasantly surprises with the build and quality of the device. It's very small which is great, and took lees than 5 minutes to transfer music from my laptop using the supplied card and USB. Connected to my headphones with Bluetooth and the sound is very impressive. Also has a built in speaker which is louder than my mobile, but a feature that I won't need to use, although handy all the same. Very good product and a bargain at this price.

Too many Faults
I needed to replace my old MP3 player after 4 years as it had finally given up the ghost. Ordered this product as it was the Amazon Choice and No. 1 without looking at the reviews. Many of the products look to be very similar in design and key layout. I use the mp3 player mainly to play podcasts and music whilst runni9ng or doing DIY around the house and gardening so wanted something lighter, smaller and less precious than my smartphone. On the plus side, delivery was prompt, well packaged and the player had a nice, solid feel to it and not plasticky and flimsy. Touch Keys were silent and operated well. Sound was O.K. via wire3d ear buds. You are never going to get superb sound from such a set-up but for my usage was more than adequate. However, problems started within 2 days. All of these are intermittent but do not give one a great deal of confidence in the product and its long term future.Would not connect to PC to charge despite several attempts.Could not switch on, despite being fully charged.File transfer from PC was fine by USB cable, although transfer rates were about a quarter of the speed of my previous MP3 player. I did not even attempt the other recommended method of transfer by removing the card and inserting into the card holder. Some tracks would not even play. Others would start to play but then end up with so much distortion and interference that it was impossible to hear anything. Strangely these would often be solved by switching completely off and then back on again. Same tracks played perfectly well on my PC and smartphone.Touch keys are ultra, ultra sensitive and it is very easy to activate them by mistake. I am sure that this I could get used to.My usage has been extremely simple and limited to playing music. Quite often you have to figure out how to do things by trial and error. How it will work with bluetooth, radio and e-reader I have no idea. How manufacturers expect something with this size screen to be used as an e-reader, I'll never know.I'm afraid because of the problems, I have zero confidence in this device. Shame as it looked and felt good. I will unfortunately be having to use Amazon Returns on this one.

Good enough
This is the first mp3 player I'm ordering so I didn't really know what to expect with it and have nothing to compare it to however, my experience so far with it is, it's quite cumbersome to navigate. For one I'm so used to touchscreen that I keep forgetting it isn't, and the fact that the buttons are like touchscreen helps me forget that it isn't as well, I majorly use it for audio recordings, now whilst it is can be loud in the aspect, the quality is crispy (haven't tried it with earphones) which tbh I I'm not shocked by. Fast forwarding the audio recordings take quite a while and the nature of the buttons mean that you could get to the point you want but a little touch can move you on to the next audio and you'll have to start over. Essentially it'd probably be better off as buttons or straight up touchscreen than touch screen buttons, the Bluetooth works amazing, I was able to transfer > 500 songs to the drive which I could easily connect to the MP3 so fike transfer is literally seamless. Battery life is very good as well. For it's price I'd say it's really good but the touchscreen thing is frustrating. Also nothing works without the SD card being inserted besides probably the time, but that makes sense tbf.

Requires some effort.
I managed to get this to work in the car but not via blue tooth. I used the car radio's usb socket. You also have to convert any music using the MP4A format to MP3 which for me was about 4,000 tracks using conversion software. So by perservering you can get this to work and it can hold around 10,000 tracks.
