This is the second of these that my family has had. One twin and one full size. My mom first didn't like it, and ended up giving it to my daughter, the full size one, which I then sanded and painted making it more colorful for my daughter's room. Other than removing the velcro which holds the planks down very well, I had no problem sanding and painting it. So if that's something you're interested in, make sure you have a good staple remover and electric stapler. And manual one might do the job but would take more Force than I can push down. After my mom gave my daughter the full one she found it was the mattress she hated and not the bed itself, so I bought her a twin size that she wanted instead. She's extremely happy with it now. It's very easy to put together, takes about 45 minutes but that's only because I take my time. It's very nice because it comes with the washers and even a little allen wrench tool that ratchets I kept that little piece of tools for my own use in other things. While I found it easy to put together the twin set, my cousin had originally put together the full size and when I took it apart, it only confirmed what an idiot he is. There's a little difficulty in making sure that you put it together in the right order because once the sides are on, you're not going to be able to screw the Allen bolts into the feet since the area where the slots go will be in the way. So make sure you put those on first. I found the quality to be exceptional. Since I sanded the first one to get the original stain off I got a good understanding of not only how it was made how what it was made of it's lightweight but entirely made of wood. Which is impressive for the price point. They really are beautiful beds. The 2x2 rubber stoppers so that the bed doesn't slide around on the floor if you have anything but carpet.

If you are looking for a sturdy well made bed frame, you can’t go wrong here. Solid wood. Packed superbly with no scratches or damage. Styrofoam fillers are all encased in plastic so the traditional white snow particles during unpacking are non existent. GENIUS!!!! The instructions are so simple and clear, a child could put this together. The hardware is encased in shrink wrap and marked clearly and includes extras for each step. I just had total knee replacement 6 weeks ago and I did it. We need to lower our mattress so it shows better, but it is a really nice color. Very sturdy. I have ordered other frames and bedding items from this company before and will always continue to buy from them.

Obviously there are some issues with buying stuff online, because you have so many doubts and listen to the negative comments over the positive... well, in this case, I am SO GLAD I listened to the positive! This bed frame is the perfect height, aesthetic, and comfort for me! The only "eh" that I agree with in other reviews is the instructions to put this bad boy together, but if you just take your time and match the numbers/letters up with each other, it will go perfectly! There is even a QR code that will take you to a video showing you how to assemble.

Considering the price it was a great bed frame. II had some initial problems with delivery, but it was fixed promptly. The bed looks really good and worked for me for over 7 years ... until the frame broke near the headboard. I also moved 3 times so disassembled it and put it back together which takes its toll on it.I bought the king size and had a mattress in it without a base. It would say it was sturdy enough, unless you are heavy weight or plan to do some crazy jumping on it.

I really do love the bed frame, but it came damaged out of the box in the center of the headboard. It’s not super noticeable, but sucks to buy something new and have it damaged off the bat. I didn’t replace/return because I needed the bed frame right away.

Bought the Queen sized bed in Antique Espresso and received it about 24 hours later. Was a bit concerned as the box looked a little beat up but there's another box inside that was fine. Packed very well, and no parts were damaged or missing. I found the assembly quite easy and the ratcheting tool included was all I needed. NOTE: it's not clear that the middle metal crossbar gets attached with the cloth covering facing up. This helps buffer any sound that the wood slats could make. Compared to my previous headboard, this one is quite short, but that's a minor issue. Also, some areas of the wood are rough in spots, but not enough to complain about and nothing has snagged yet. Still room to store under bed too! Very happy with this purchase so far.

Clear instructions. The parts were all well labeled. The instructions were easy to follow. The toolkit even featured a ratchet for Allen screws. Pieces fit together smoothly.Also shipping was fast.

I've had this for almost a year now. I put it together myself, and a month ago, I took it apart and moved it by myself so my floors could be re-done. All of the fasteners were still tight, and everything looked like it did the day I put it together.Some directions can be hard to follow, but these weren't too bad.I'm 50, and not the best builder, but again, I was able to put it together myself.The slats have velcro on them and stick to the edges of the frame, and although there's a sticky strip on them to help the bed stay in place, I chose not to use it.I have a 13 inch mattress and box spring/foundation, and I haven't had any issues with it moving around.The color of the wood in the pictures is a great match and overall, I'm really happy I bought this.
