Great game
We LOVE Cities and Night, and we use this one for a player expansion. We just painted the pieces different colors and use it to expand the game to be up to 6 players. Works grear!

Great expansion to catan
I love this game, if you already have the original game and are experienced with Catan. THIS IS AN EXPANSION. with that said, this is by far my favorite one. Comes with cool new pieces.

I bought this for a giftee of a board game exchange, and they loved it, being Catan was one of their favorite games. Like anyone who loves Catan, they know it's amazing, but adding more would just amplify the experience. I remember the first time I played this expansion. My experience was crazy amplified.As someone who plays a good amount of CATAN, the Cities & Knights expansion has completely revitalized my gaming experience with Catan and friends. It adds a strategic depth that makes every game feel fresh and challenging. The introduction of commodities and the development of city improvements adds a new layer of resource management, making it far more engaging for seasoned players.The knight and barbarian mechanics bring a new level of interaction and urgency that forces players to think ahead and collaborate, yet still leaves room for those classic CATAN betrayals we all love (or hate). This expansion also balances the game better by providing more ways to score points, making the race to 13 points more dynamic and less predictable.If you're a CATAN veteran looking to elevate your game night, Cities & Knights is a must-have. Just be prepared for longer games and even more intense smack talking between people in the group in the best (worst) way possible! It's fun, buy it!

Very Convoluted, In a Good Way
This is no “expansion lite”, this effectively doubled (or more) the actionable options at every single turn. Sometimes you GET something simply because you didn’t EARN ANYTHING! Not gonna lie, that’s pretty much how I just won our first game with this expansion set. Took a while to just get through the directions so be patient because they’re important. When I saw each player gets their own FLIP CHART, I was a little intimidated but it was easy to master. Game play was longer than the basic version, took us probably 90+ minutes on our first go. Highly recommend this expansion pack!
