Why did you choose this product over others?:I had tried the 'does not Harm prickel mat' cut to size on the top of the trellis, the Cats just laughed at it! So much for kindness, we've recently purchased some of your much more Robust spikes which come in panels which you can click apart to the desired measurement and which have holes for screws. Effectiveness:So far, so good, Birds Happily chomping away at the feeders, and no unwelcome 'deposits' in the flower beds.Build quality:Robust! Ouch!Ease of setup:Easy peasy!Ease of cleaning:Not sure yet

Easy to install and performing as it says. Bought to prevent pigeon deposits from shed roof onto patio in a subtle looking product.Many options for making a perfect fit and quite unobtrusive at a competitive price.

This depends upon what you want them for. I wanted them to dissuade a cat from using a wall to enter my garden for its morning constitutional.But I wanted to put it off, not maim it for life. These are long and very sharp.For bird proofing at higher level I'm sure that they are great.

Very pleased with the results! The pigeons are not impressed but my decking is now free of pigeon faeces! Easy to install - I fixed directly with screws and didn’t use the cable ties supplied.

Needed something to stop pigeons from rooting inside a covered pergola/car port. Both supports that these were going on are approx. 3m long. The spikes have one un-spiked row, which is where the cable tie goes. However, if you just cable tie it in that way then each section curls up at the end (the pieces are short). I ended up using longer cable ties and using them down the sides of one of the spiked rows at either end. End results looks good, but it took a lot more effort (& additional cable ties) than I expected. Only seen one pigeon try their luck in trying to cling to the lip of the spikes, but it didn’t last long.

A great sunstantial product that works very well. It's plastic so it won't rust but the spikes are very hard and pointy so be careful when you're handimg it. I bought it to keep pigeons off my metal pergola frame - so far, so good, not one pigeon has been able to land! I used double sided gorilla tape to fix it on and it looks like it'll bve fixed for ever!
