This simple buckle makes putting on and taking off the Herm Sprenger prong collars so much easier and convenient. Unfortunately, when I first bought my dog's Sprenger collar for training I didn't buy it with the buckle included. That was a mistake. Fortunately, it's a pretty simple installation and makes all the difference. So if you didn't purchase a Sprenger collar with a buckle already installed, get this one! It's stainless steel, too, so it will last and not rust.

I was hesitant to get this for my 10 month old German Shepherd for fear that the clasp would come undone, but it is very secure and durable. The audible click is also a reassuring sound, and the slide cover protects it from being inadvertently depressed to release accidentally. Very pleased with this addition to her collar, makes putting on & removing much smoother.

This is a wonderful addition to your prong collar. I'm 75 and it's very hard to squeeze the prongs so I ordered this and it makes it so easy for me! Thank you so much and my doberman thanks you.

Very convenient slip and works perfect.

Used for prong collar. Makes it easy to clip on and off. Only downside is black plastic cover slips off too easily where it could get lost or eaten by dog.

Definitely worth it. Squeezing a prong males it so difficult putting on or taking off the collar and risked hurting the dog. This makes it quick and safe and creates a wider, non-prong space underneath.
