I have decent grip strength, but doing some heavier exercises such as barbell shrugs can put a strain on the grip when doing high reps or slow reps. These straps are perfect for what I wanted. I'm old school (being in my late 50s) so over the years I've used several different straps. What I liked about these compared to those older ones is the padding which prevents chafing of the wrists and provides comfort during the lifts. The material for the straps is strong and flexible making it easy to wrap around the bar and feel confident they are going to hold. I like the idea these straps now have patterns although not a priority for me, but still nice to have. All in all, a decent product.

The item is fine I think, they're my first lifting straps.Although I was confused for a good 5-10 mins before I realised that both straps are for the same hand - there's no left and right, so I have to wear one the other way around. Definitely a product flaw that needs to be corrected.
