This was exactly what I needed for my 1974ish, Block SN#3999289, 454 Big Block chevy. I am rebuilding an old 60's car and have installed a 454 big block. I try to order parts on line and many times the parts do not fit. This part fit the this application. Includes the bolts and rubber seal too. You also need to order a thermostat. When I compared it side by side to the 30 dollar "Mr" one, they are identical.Reviewers talk about cracking them, it's an O-ring seal, once the flange hits the intake, it's done sealing. (torque 15#)I like the fact that it's aluminum, that makes it compatible with my aluminum intake.

Looks good and fit as it should no leaks.

Chrome appears to be of good quality. fitment for big block chevy to aftermarket intake was acceptable.
