Easy, Convenient
I've been using Frontline Plus on my cat for over a year now, and it has been consistently effective. The 6-pipette pack provides good value and convenient dosing intervals. The pipettes are straightforward to use. I part the fur at the base of the neck and squeeze the contents directly onto the skin. Takes less than a minute.Haven't had any flea or tick issues since starting this treatment. Living in the Midlands, this has kept my cat protected. My cat has shown no side effects or skin irritation from the treatment. The 6-pack size is convenient for maintaining regular treatment without frequent reorders. After a full year of use, I'm confident recommending this to other cat owners looking for dependable parasite protection.

Works a treat
Good flea stuff. Seems to work as they don’t have fleas and cheaper than the vet’s stuff

Kills most but not all fleas
A lot of flea treatments don't work these days. This seems to be a better one, but probably should alternate with other types of treatment to be best.

Does not work, save yourself the trouble
This was our first time treating our cat for fleas - we noticed she had them so went straight to find a product to do the job. We went off the recommendation of my partners family that use this product on their cat and they said it works for them. The use of the product was easy enough, instructions are relatively clear and not too much confusion which is always nice. We treated our cat in the evening and that seemed to be it pretty simple.I had thought that her symptoms seemed to improve, I was under the impression that we were seeing less flee dirt around so assumed it worked. I had already decided I was going to give her a bath once she was clear to do so as the product recommended you do not bath them for 2 days.It was about a week later and I gave her a bath and once we finished and I was drying her I noticed a flea on her neck which I wasn’t sure was dead or not. I got it out and realised it was alive, and when I picked her up to dry her back legs I saw she was teeming with fleas still!I had a look around and got the impression that I must have not applied it properly as she is a long haired cat it may have not gotten on her skin enough. So I figured I’d have to follow the instructions and wait for 3 more weeks till I could re-apply.We went about a week and it just got ridiculous she was so uncomfortable and was constantly grooming and we were getting flea dirt and eggs all over the place so I decided to call up the vets and get her an appointment. After speaking to the vets they informed me that this product simply does not work on modern fleas! The formulas that pet shop and retail products can use is around 30 years old now and is essentially entirely ineffective on fleas that have developed a resistance to the formula. Where once upon a time I’m sure this product was brilliant, unfortunately it no longer does the trick.I really was not impressed when finding this out, having spent extra on the “Frontline Plus” to find out that it doesn’t even do the basic requirement is very underwhelming and frustrating. It is not fair on pet owners or pets to market this as a valid product and seemingly more high end than others available only for it to not work and cause prolonged unnecessary discomfort for the animals.Since first using this we have also found out that my partner’s family who made the initial recommendation is now also having issues with their cat and dog regarding fleas and have also had to go to the vet for the same thing so it seems it is not a stand alone issue.A very disappointing outcome in our experience.

Not Enough for Flea Infestations
I gave my cat FRONTLINE Spot On as a preventative treatment since he’s an outdoor cat who roams fields and can pick up fleas. However, he still picked up fleas. We had to resort to prescription-strength tablets to fully solve the issue, but we’ve since gone back to using what was left of the FRONTLINE Spot On as a preventative, and he hasn’t had any more flea issues.I do appreciate that it’s quick and easy to apply, and my cat has gotten used to the process with no fuss. He hasn’t had any reactions to it, which is great. If fleas become a recurring issue, this product might not be enough, and I’d need to consider stronger treatments.

Tiny Tablets, Big Worm-Eviction Energy
Tried telling my cat she had worms—she ignored me. Gave her a FRONTLINE tablet—problem solved, dignity restored. Easy to give (with stealth and maybe a treat), and now she's strutting around worm-free like the queen she thinks she is.
