The only nose/ear trimmer you should buy
Best of the best; this trims close and actually gets all that hair gone from your nose and ears. It’s worth paying a little more for a tool that actually works above and beyond all the competition. Easy to use but I agree with the criticism that it is kinda loud by my ears. Perfect for travel and now comes with a handy travel case. This is the only one you should buy or need. I will say this is my 3rd purchase over 5 years of this trimmer because it seems to be very susceptible to water damage. This new version is metal and not plastic so looks and feels much more durable.100% recommend.

Gives you the closest shave
I've owned two other trimmers. The type that spins and the type that has blades that overlap each other back and forth. Neither cuts well. This one with its unique mushroom shape gives you the closest and cleanest cut in your nostrils. It's amazing. Easy. Safe. I feel like I can breathe better. Purchased it because of a recommendation from a men's health magazine. I'm glad I read the recommendation.

Stick it in your nose, stick it in your ears, stick it in your...
I had a ToiletTree trimmer for a few years and it finally started wearing out so I figured I'd try this one out. I spent hours exploring the best options because I hate using these and wanted to make sure it was painless, fairly cheap, and actually works. It's been good so far...the little mushroom shape is a brilliant design and I don't know why every trimmer doesn't go with this--I put it in my nose, do a back and forth, get fancy with little circles, and I'm done. Ears are the same deal; trims the hair and doesn't pull, which I'd argue are the 2 things we are looking for in these products. For the price, it's a deal. I saw ones on here for like $50-$175 and that's for rich people or extremely hairy people. If you're one of the two, or both, maybe skip this item. I knocked off a star because you can't run it under water, which sucks. I pull the cap off and shake the hair out and that's all I can really do. It's 2025 man, these should be waterproof. But yeah, it works, it's not going to cost you half your paycheck, and it's powerful. I saw reviews about it being loud...it's not like a lawnmower or anything but it's also not something you want to use at 5AM a few feet away from your partner. It's got some power, Tim Taylor would approve of this one. AAAUUUUUAAAUGHHHHHH?????

Do not clean with water
Item works great and is delicate. Trimmer is not waterproof so Do Not clean with water. For my waterproof electric razor I use a brush. Some people commented on battery installation. Negative side always goes toward spring. Item can be turned on with one hand when held upside down. Be easy with attachments as they are new and stiff. Work them in and all is great.

Rust in the battery compartment. Don't get near water.
Don't get this anywhere near water. Rusts in the battery compartment. Always remove head before washing. I love this thing but constantly taking a wire brush and emery cloth to the battery contacts and battery due to rusting. Reordering and going to heed my advice and also use electrical contact cleaner hoping for a better outcome.

Trims more closely than anything else
I have tried a lot of trimmers over the years, and this one is simply the best in terms of a close trim. The unique trimmer shape makes it very easy to ensure that all hairs are properly cut down. It does not pull hairs, pinch, or cut skin. The trimmer head can get a little hot with extended used, and it is a bit loud if you use it around your ears. I wish it was rechargeable so I didn't have to buy batteries, but battery life seems good so far. These are minor complaints when considering how well this actually trims. I'm glad I got the slightly more expensive version that has an all metal housing. It definitely lends a high quality feel, and will hopefully survive an accidental drop or two (unlike my last trimmer)

Superlative nose hair trimmer. Foil shaver attachment? not so much.
While looking for a rechargeable grooming tool (Mostly I was looking for a nose hair trimmer), I was presented with an assortment of tools, some of them not rechargeable. Why Amazon lists options I am specifically NOT looking for still peeves me, but in this (very rare) case, Amazon won and I purchased a product out of curiosity. Two brands of the nose hair trimmers had distinctly different heads and I wondered what the difference is and if one is better a better design for cutting than the other. Intrigued, I bought one of each, and tested them both.Other brand rechargeable Round Head Trimmer:On the plus side for the round head trimmer, it IS rechargeable. There is a light to indicate charging, but no battery level indicator. The attachments are easily removed, and can be rinsed under running water. Also on the plus side, the detail trimmer attachment works well. The nose hair trimmer works... but not as well as I would like.On the down side, the handle was thick and bulky. Although still maneuverable, the thickness of the handle made it a little awkward in the hand. The cap did not want to stay on, nor (as is reasonable) would it fit over the trimmer attachment. The round head nose hair trimmer, although it worked, was not very efficient and took a very long time running it around my nostril before I was somewhat satisfied that it got as much as it could .ConairMan Trimmer:On the down side of this nose hair trimmer, It is not rechargeable, costs more, is more noisy and the attachment that it came with (specifically the foil shaver) was a little disappointing when it came to function. The nose hair attachment is very tight, and was difficult to twist off for rinsing or tool swap. Also (as is reasonable) there is no cover for the attachment that came with it.On the plus side for this one, the nose hair trimmer was remarkably more efficient and a lot faster than the round head rechargeable. from the sound of things, it also cuts closer; even finding the nubs the rechargeable left behind in the other nostril. (Judging by the sounds, the round head found nothing on the reciprocal test.) The Cap stays put on the ConairMan nose hair trimmer, and the slimmer handle is less awkward in the hand. Although the detail trimmer attachment was adequate, the foil shaver side failed every test I gave it except for ease of cleaning; failing even to take care of the "nubs" left by the detail trimmer.Overall: While both have their plusses and minuses, The ConairMan nose hair trimmer with the mushroom head (I Feel) blew the rechargeable round head nose hair trimmer out of the water as far a cut goes on the nose hair trimmer. Which one you choose totally depends on what YOU need. I hope this head to head helps. (Pardon the pun)Although I have avoided mentioning other brands or models, I don't believe Amazon is fond of head to head reviews, so I hope this is posted. Whichever brand or model you choose... Good luck Mr. Phelps.
