Yes. They got rid of the low white and the low red! Say goodbye to your night vision if you turn either one on.

Q: Is the head band stretchy or rigid?

The band stretches enough to the point where if you have a it a little it will not fall off. It is very comfortable in the head and extremely light. You can also use it with a baseball cap

Q: Does this unit float? I take a bunch of kids fishing at night and need lamps that'll 1) float 2) small 3) bright

It is small and bright, but I don't know if it will float. I'm reluctant to find out. I don't know if the charging port is waterproof.
