Q: Are the quests decently long?

Definitely. Five of the six quests are estimated to have 50-80 minutes of playtime, and the sixth one is estimated to have 75-120 minutes of playtime. And regardless of the minutes of playtime, I felt there was a lot of adventure in them. Also, the main Dragonholt Village book has a lot of content with the interactions of the people of Dragonholt.

Q: how does the genesys system work?

There are some really good reviews on boardgamegeek.com that go over how the system works. It's ok as a introduction to roleplaying game, but the idea of playing a choose your own adventure book as a group is a bit of a hard sell to my crew.

Q: How is this game when you play solo?

It’s solo. The box says more than one player, but the adventurers are clearly designed around a single adventurer. Our gaming group was very disappointed that the introduction played awkwardly for more than one adventurer (the adventure acted like all four of us wanted to climb the same tree!) so decided not to play it again.

Q: Is this game repeatable?

Yes it is. On a second play through be sure to have different character builds then the previous play through so different choices become viable for you to choose. Whenever feasible you should choose a different course of action from previous plays to see where it leads. It is not a quick game so take your time and enjoy. When your done, give it to a friend :)
