Second time the charm
Update: I tried again. This phone appears to be functioning perfectly. (Seems like it was supplied by a different "renewer" than the first one.) A couple very minor dings around the rim of the phone body, but can't even see them because I use a case.Originally: I think Amazon should reimburse me the difference in price (this one was about $15 more than the first one) because it wasn't my fault for needing to spend again/more. Their Customer Service is usually stellar, so I expect no issues. If I haven't updated this update, assume all went well.Update: Unexpectedly, I got pushback initially from Customer Service. Their policy, the agent said, is not to price-match items from 3rd-party sellers. OK, I get that, but that's a non-sequitur. YOU (Amazon) sold me a defective item the first time. YOU engage your suppliers, I don't. I buy from YOU. I shouldn't be penalized for YOUR bad business decision. I said the right thing to do is consider my lifetime customer value, not this one specific purchase (ask me how I'm aware of this concept in Big Retail), and not damage my loyalty. If, as YOUR tagline says, YOU are "Earth's most customer-centric company," then YOU should be paying this penalty, not me. The agent finally offered me the maximum "promotional certificate" he could--which amounted to the approximate price difference. Had the difference been greater, I would have escalated to a supervisor with more authority to make things right.First try: Item took longer to ship/arrive than stated in the listing. Then, come to find out, the camera was non-operational. Amazon Renewed Guarantee is supposed to include having been "professionally inspected" and "rigorously tested." Very disappointing. Will try again, hopefully not against my better judgement.

Completely Satisfied
The phone arrived in excellent condition - the screen was pristine, the aluminum frame showed no wear, and even the camera lenses were spotless. For a renewed device, I was genuinely impressed by how well it had been refurbished. The phone I received was sold by YY Wireless.I was able to get it going immediately on AT&T using the SIM card from my previous Samsung phone. It offered, and I allowed it, to duplicate my apps, photos, etc. from my previous phone. Couldn't have been better.I'm a fairly light user and the phone I got will easily last 2 days between charges.I'm completely satisfied with this purchase.

Damaged and Defective Phone
Purchased a Samsung Galaxy S23 from this seller that turned out to be a complete lemon. Contacted the seller within the 90 day return time frame and described the issues I was experiencing. I was provided some troubleshooting solutions that did not work. The phone crashes randomly, shuts down a few times a day, loses it's signal, drops calls, etc. I was sold a damaged and defective product that has never worked properly and wasted my money. I am left with a useless device and no recourse. Lesson learned.

Absolutely perfect refreshed/renewed phone
It came time to update our 4 year old cell phones. I chose two of the S23 models as they were last years model. The phones were shipped quickly and with the Samsung transfer app , transferring everything to the new phones was quick and easy. Just connect the phones to a common WiFi network and follow the instructions. The phones have been wiped with a factory reset so all Samsung and Android updates will have to be downloaded, but that too was very easy.

Samsung S23 5G Factory Unlocked Phone
The Samsung Galaxy S23 5G Factory Unlocked has been a reliable and feature-packed smartphone in my personal use. It offers a premium experience, but like any device, it has its strengths and weaknesses. Here's my detailed review:ProsCompact and Premium Design:The S23 is sleek, lightweight, and comfortable to hold, even for extended periods. Its compact size makes it easy to use with one hand, and the build quality is top-notch with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and an aluminum frame.Performance:Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, the phone delivers exceptional speed and responsiveness for multitasking, gaming, and everyday use. It’s well-optimized for Android 13 with Samsung’s OneUI 5.1.Display:The 6.1-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display is stunning, with vibrant colors, deep blacks, and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The brightness peaks at 1750 nits, making it easy to view even in bright sunlight.Camera:The camera system is impressive, delivering sharp photos with excellent color accuracy in various lighting conditions. The video stabilization is also noteworthy for recording high-quality clips.Battery Life:Despite its compact size, the battery life is solid, lasting a full day with moderate use on both Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity.Unlocked Flexibility:Being factory unlocked allows for seamless switching between carriers without bloatware or restrictions commonly found in carrier-locked devices.Software Updates:Samsung promises four years of OS updates and five years of security patches, ensuring the device remains relevant for years to come.ConsNo MicroSD Card Slot:The lack of expandable storage is a drawback, especially since the base model starts at 128GB, which may not suffice for users who store large files or media.Average Battery Life:While good for its size, the battery life isn’t groundbreaking compared to larger devices or other flagship models like the Ultra version.OneUI Limitations:While feature-rich, Samsung’s OneUI can feel cluttered compared to stock Android or Google’s Pixel software experience.Price:The S23 is priced at a premium for its size and features, which might deter budget-conscious buyers.GPS Issues with Google Maps:Some users (myself included) have experienced issues where GPS disconnects when the screen is off during navigation, which can be frustrating when traveling.Overall ExperienceThe Samsung Galaxy S23 5G Factory Unlocked is an excellent choice for those seeking a compact flagship phone with premium features and long-term software support. Its performance, display quality, and camera system make it stand out in its category. However, the lack of expandable storage and minor software quirks may be deal-breakers for some.Rating: 4/5Highly recommended for users who prioritize portability, performance, and flexibility in carrier choice over features like expandable storage or ultra-long battery life!

Seems brand new
Phone is in brand new condition, battery life is excellent! You couldn't tell it had ever been used before. Screen and body of phone are mint. I'm not sure what kind of charger brick came with it, threw that out. The phone is great though.
