Bought this grabber to replace the previous which broke down due to age and use. This new one looks sturdy and is easy to handle with the firm plastic handle which is also easy on my hands. Whether others feel the same will be a matter of opinion. The grips to pick up articles are tight and secure. So I would give this product a positive review. I do hope it will last a good long time (though I won't overtax the item.

This brand of “grabbers” is the best I've found. It’s color is pleasant and its “fingers” hold items secure. We use these for indoor items such as closet shelves, laundry cabinet shelves, and the pantry and bathroom toilet paper cabinet. We’re 80ish. We a cheaper brand for retrieving from the Trash cans and the workshops.

I bought this grabber to help me post surgery. It has been an absolute lifesaver! I am not allowed to bend for six weeks and this goes with me everywhere in the house! It picks up light, medium and even fairly heavy items. I also bought one for my elderly father who just isn't able to bend over as easily as he used to. Fabulous investment!

Excellent item for grabbing every thing from the floor or top cabinets .I purchased it because the one I had was not very good.

This is a very robust, well-made product. I find no fault with the quality at all. I especially like the 90 degree locking swivel head feature. My main caveat for buyers is that there is reverse force magnification from grip to pincers. You really have to use all your (old man) hand strength to maintain a grip on the object you are grabbing. A force mutiplier from grip to Pimcer of 1:1.5 or 1:2 would be helpful. The other thing is the length. It is great for getting into low or distant places but it is too long to easily bring the item to your free hand. A shorter, say 37" , length would be more manageable. These are minor faults mostly due to my intended use of the product. Over-all it is a very well-made item with a nice ergonomic grip and pincers that, with care will pick up things a thin as a single sheet of paper.

Reached for a mug and pincers don't open wide enough. Picks up small items even a quarter off the floor. It has it's uses.

lighweight and awesome. I am disabled from a stroke. I use these until I break them, which I evtualy do. SO handy. Easy to snap together. No mess; no fuss.

I have three different designs of grabbers spread around the house after having spinal fusion. This one is my favorite. It can grab something as small as a popcorn seed. My only complaint is that the pin holding the trigger to the handle works its way loose and it's a bit of a hassle to push it back with my finger. A rivet would have worked much better here.
