I'll start by saying I had to have my son-in-law connect this to the app. We followed all the instructions, and back up instructions, and he finally had to do some fancy techy stuff to get it connected. Once it was set up, however, it's super easy to use. The kit comes with some packets to recalibrate it, but the insert does say that it's calibrated before leaving the factory. I was primarily interested in measuring pH and moisture levels, but it also tests a variety of other things (salt, light, fertility, etc...) You're able to store/save data and make notes under the file. My only complaint on that front is that it doesn't let you title or name the files, so you have to click on them and look in the notes to see what you're looking at. All things considered, this is a neat little tool to help with the garden this year. I'm happy with it.

This 8 in 1 Smart Digital Soil Test Kit for Plants from the GIDIGI Store provides an easy to use and intuitive app. I like how large the fonts are on the app. I took one star off as I don’t understand why the app needed access to location before you could use it. Without it, it won’t detect the tool. Once you accept, it does find it easy and syncs quickly. I do not like that there is not “on” lamp on the tool - you’ll see it connected on the app, but if you accidentally turn the unit on, I’m not sure how long it’ll stay on and waste battery. I like that the instruction sheet is laminated and the font size is large enough to comfortably read. I like that it came in calibrated already. Decently priced. Came with batteries too!

sent me a used item with the batteries already installed so who knows how long these batteries where in the unit.no reply defective wont connect to bluetooth.

Great tool to analyze soil and get instant feedback. The tester app was easy to install and use on my iPhone 16. I was able to get instand feedback on the water, soil condition, temp and light. The most critical and useful so far was the PH level which I was able to quickly check across my newly raised garden bed. I took several readings on the 4x8 ft bed and then compared each section. The app saved each of the readings so it was easy to go back and compare. I found that my PH was too high which was why my plants were growing fast and getting yellow. I applied some sulfate and got the soil PH right and now i have green leafs. Simple and easy to use. I did have to learn what the EC and RH reading were since it was not clear in the manual.
