Might be luck
I just ordered yesterday, got them the next day, and the box they were in had the old style packaging. All the review seemed to indicate you needed scissors and patience to get them one at a time. So before I opened the box I got out my scissors. I was surprised when I looked at the back and found the easy open, spin the front way of getting out a battery. I haven’t used a battery yet, but I’ve used this brand for years. In the past they’ve always been good. And these are dated to January 2029.

Easy Open
I was skeptical to order these because of complaints about packaging. Mine are super easy to open; just spin the package and they fall out. It's actually an easier package to open than the last box I bought of the same brand.

PACKAGING IS AWFUL!!!!
These have been my go-to brand of batteries since I started needing to wear hearing aids. I just received my next box, and went to change the battery. Luckily this was at home. I’m a teacher, and need to do this quickly when my battery powers down if I’m at work. The new packaging is AWFUL! I’m not even sure how you are supposed to figure something like this out…. It used to be super quick and easy to get the batteries out 1 at a time. NOT ANYMORE! I’m not happy and I don’t have time when the school year is winding down to try and figure this mess out!!!! 😖

They're great what they only last a week when you got put in once a week

Horrible New Packaging
No problems with the batteries. They last long and I haven't had a dud. My one complaint is about the new packaging. The package can't be opened easily, even following the recommended use of scissors. And who carries scissors with them so they can get out their next hearing aid battery?!

packs are almost impossible to open
The batteries themselves are good. The new child proof packaging is terrible. Almost people proof! I understand the need for safety. Discussing the packing with my audiologist he informed me that the majority of his patients open multiple packets at a time and put them into an alternate container so they can use them easily. Unfortunately, this completely defeats the purpose of the new packaging.
